Bianca is passionate about sustainability in the building sector.
Convinced that holistic thinking is the key factor for success, she acquired broad knowledge in architecture and building physics as well as building and energy technology. She contributed her teamwork skills to the "Solar Decathlon Europe 2021"22 goes urban!" and successfully implemented them in the joint effort in planning and execution in the interdisciplinary cooperation of various academic programs and planning offices. Bianca convincingly demonstrated that she fits well into the Transsolar team as a student trainee underpinning it with her final thesis: „Buildings as Energy Buffers – Potential Analysis of Predictive Systems for Increasing the Renewable Energy Share in Building Operations“ is the title of her future-oriented work, in which she used simulations to investigate the extent to which buildings can serve as energy buffers in the power grid.
