On Monday, September 21, The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) recognized projects with a "Climate Positive" award for their measurements during the past year of operation.
Transsolar's project, the Schubart-Gymnasium in Aalen with Liebel Architekten, was a recipient of this certificate - a great reason for pride and joy! This award from the German Sustainable Building Council also provides proof to us that the climate and energy concept we developed works exactly as the entire team had aimed for: In the annual balance sheet, the building performs even better than carbon-neutral in operation because its energy production has also saved the environment the emission of 4.8 t of carbon dioxide.
