The team led by the architects of Michelgroup GmbH, Ulm, aims for the lowest possible carbon footprint and the DGNB Platinum certification. The clayey subsoil from the excavation pit is used as building material, and wood is used even for high-bay warehouses. Thanks to targeted energy efficiency measures, the complex is self-sufficient in renewable energy from geothermal and photovoltaic sources.
