With the Solar Decathlon India (SDI), this ambition finds a strong platform: the net-zero building challenge brings together student teams from across India to develop innovative, climate-resilient solutions for real projects in collaboration with industry partners.
As an Affiliate, Transsolar contributes expertise through jury engagement, lectures, and exchange. Markus Krauss is part of this year’s jury, supported by Ayush Kamalia. At the same time, SDI acts as a powerful multiplier—embedding knowledge locally while enabling Transsolar to learn from regional design strategies and innovations, and opening opportunities for future projects in India.
