We are very pleased: The "Green Ring" won the competition with its innovative and sustainable overall concept.
The area will become a pioneering neighbourhood for climate protection and urban agriculture, with the "Green Ring" project providing generous green spaces and areas for urban agriculture.
On 4 April, the competition jury selected the winning project from four finalists, which will now form the basis for the urban development model to be drawn up by 2025. The aim is to create a neighbourhood of the future whose infrastructure will lead the way to a climate-neutral Vienna.
