Wolfgang Kessling | COOL DOWN 2026: Thermischen Komfort in Städten gestalten

On August 26, 2026, Wolfgang Kessling will speak at the event “COOL DOWN – Best Practice: Summer Destinations That Make a Difference” at the German Architecture Museum in Frankfurt. In his presentation, “Shaping the Microclimate – Planning for Thermal Comfort,” he will examine how the urban climate is changing, which factors influence thermal comfort, and what measures can help improve the microclimate.

The event takes place as part of the exhibition “Too Hot – Hot Cities, New Approaches” and brings together experts from the fields of planning, research, and municipal practice to discuss strategies for heat-resilient cities and immediately effective measures for climate adaptation.
