Night of Uncertainty | The Night of Junya Ishigami | April 13, 2018

The philosopher Elie During and Matthias Schuler are invited to the ‘Night of Uncertainty | The Night of Junya Ishigami’ on Friday April 13, 2018.

During the exhibition Junya Ishigami | Freeing Architecture | March 30 to June 10 2018, presented by the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain in Paris, several 'Nights of Uncertainty' will be devoted to the universe of Junya Ishigami, for which the architect will be in attendance.

The invitation describes the evening event as follows:
‘A veritable ode to liberty, the exhibition Freeing Architecture demonstrates Junya Ishigami’s remarkable ability to develop his practice beyond the frontiers of savoir-faire and architectural thought. The poetic dimension of his designs is based as much on experimentation as it is on theory, know-how, and technology. To explore his universe philosophers, architects, engineers, and thinkers come together around Junya Ishigami.’

In 2014 Matthias Schuler collaborated successfully with Junya Ishigami and Svendborg Architects designing the sustainability concept for “The Cloud” – the winner of the competition House of Peace [HOPE] in Copenhagen.
