Let's connect! | Transsolar in India at SDI

In June, Transsolar engineers Markus Krauss and Ayush Kamalia will travel to India to participate in the Solar Decathlon India (SDI) Challenge — a platform for advancing net-zero building design.

As part of this year’s programme, Markus Krauss will serve on the SDI jury, while Ayush Kamalia takes on the role of connector. If you are in India, feel free to connect with Markus and Ayush! We are happy to get in touch.

SDI brings together postgraduate and undergraduate student teams from across India to develop innovative, climate-resilient solutions for real-world building projects. Working in close collaboration with industry partners, the teams design net-zero-energy and net-zero-water buildings, contributing to a more sustainable and carbon-neutral built environment.

Beyond the competition, SDI creates a valuable platform for knowledge sharing through webinars, workshops, and a comprehensive programme that connects academia, industry, and practice. It enables students to test innovative and affordable, market-ready solutions and to engage directly with the challenges of climate-responsive design.

More information and the full programme are available on the SDI website.
