BMW Munich - urban production
The car manufacturer is rebuilding its plant in Munich. The area, which had been sealed off until now, is to be given transparent façades that allow a glimpse into the production facilities.
The Office for Metropolitan Architecture, OMA, Rotterdam, and 3XN, Copenhagen, equal winners of the architecture competition, have joined forces for the large-scale project.
Also part of the team are Vogt Landschaftsarchitekten, Berlin, Systematica, Milan, GXN, Copenhagen and Transsolar.
