Transsolar is pleased to support Diversity in Architecture (DIVIA), an initiative dedicated to increasing the visibility of women in architecture and promoting greater equality within the profession. Through research, awards, and public discourse, DIVIA highlights overlooked contributions and fosters more inclusive narratives in architectural practice.
We are looking forward to the next major DIVIA event in Barcelona, part of the 2026 World Capital of Architecture. The DIVIA Conference 2026, “Beyond the Shadow”, will take place at the Gustavo Gili Building – now the House of Architecture Barcelona – in cooperation with the Fundació Mies van der Rohe. Alongside the conference, the DIVIA Award 2025 exhibition will present the finalists and winner from May 26–31, 2026.
The conference revisits the work of Lilly Reich, whose contribution to projects such as the Barcelona Pavilion remained unrecognized for decades, and addresses broader questions of visibility and authorship in architecture today.
We are especially excited that Aarti Dhingra will contribute to the program with a lecture titled “Building Resilience through Diversity: Forests, Gender, and the Ecologies."
