Each summer, Transsolar and Transplan colleagues from our offices come together for our annual Project Days. This year, we gathered in Stuttgart for two days of exchange, learning, and discussion.
A central part of the event was the opportunity to share work across teams and disciplines. Each group presented recent projects, current developments, and new strategies and approaches, followed by open discussions and knowledge exchange. We also heard updates from our topic groups, including research and ongoing work related to daylight, outdoor comfort, and the use of AI.
One of the highlights was a visit to the Klett House Areal construction site in Stuttgart-West. As part of the IBA’27 (Internationale Bauausstellung 2027 StadtRegion Stuttgart), the renovation project provided valuable insights into the transformation of an existing urban structure. We would like to thank Klett Gruppe, Bruno Fioretti Marquez, and STUDIO CROSS SCALE for guiding us through the project and sharing perspectives from the design and development process.
Another highlight was the keynote lecture by Constantin Dr. Alexander, who shared insights from his work and spoke about the forces shaping the future development of our cities. His presentation provided an inspiring framework for discussions throughout the event.
The two days concluded with our annual summer party, offering further opportunities to reconnect with colleagues from all across the world.
Project Days remain an important part of Transsolar's culture, creating space for learning from one another, strengthening connections between offices, and advancing the ideas that shape our work.
